We went along to the golf club yesterday. It’s not often we go on a Sunday despite the pleas of our friends who go every Sunday.
This Sunday was a competition day, as well as a sunny day. The result – a good turnout. People even ventured indoors. It was great to hear a buzz of voices again, to see so many people together again even if keeping socially distanced. People are clearly beginning to feel more confident about socialising again.
It was a good chance for catching up with friends & acquaintances who we haven’t seen since before the shutdown. It was good. Above all it was good to see the club so busy again.
