Early enquiries

We’ve started the enquiries about holidays. We’ve found a holiday we fancy for spring. We’ve made a few tentative enquiries & now wait to hear whether the accessible room is available at the time we want & how much it will cost.

Where are we thinking of going? To the south of France. We’ve missed our almost annual trip to France. The fact we survived 2017 we’ve put down largely due to the success of our trip to Annecy & Chamonix just before I was told about the cancer.

The hotel we’ve found is near Cannes, overlooking the Med. It’s not a long trip from Nice airport to Cannes. We have visited the area before, but we’ve never spent much time exploring Cannes itself as it was busy with preparing for the Cannes film festival at the time. It’s certainly a beautiful area. A lot of things we’d hoped to see we never got to so there’s still plenty to explore. It looks like a place we could relax & above all that’s what we need.

So fingers crossed, we await the result of our enquiries.
