Treasure hunt

Each time I venture out I stop to look for new shoots appearing. Last year we bought a lot of new spring bulbs. I don’t know exactly where they were planted by our gardener. I just told her which I wanted in the front garden, which in the back, which in the pots by the garage.  So now it’s become quite a treasure hunt as I see new shoots appearing through the dark wet soil. It’s still too early for buds so I can only speculate as to which clump is which flower but it’s all rather exciting & full of promise. Shoots seem to be appearing everywhere so we should have a colourful spring. I’m looking forward to it.
