At last the winds have stopped. It seems
surprisingly quiet.
The last few days, whenever we’ve been
near or along the prom, the sky has been filled with colour. The sky itself may
have been leaden grey, but the wind has brought out the kite enthusiasts. Kites
of all colours have swooped up & down in the winds. I’m surprised some
children have even managed to keep hold of them, the winds have been so strong.
In many ways it’s been perfect kite weather & the kites have brought much
merriment & pleasure to Morecambe & its visitors.
