Home again

I’m safely home. I had the op on Friday. It turned out to be a bigger op than expected. The tumour had doubled, if not trebled, since my CT scan in January.

I think all is hopeful. My fingers, hands & arms are all moving so I think amputation is definitely unlikely. I’m a bit stiff & sore but that should ease with the physiotherapy exercises I’ve been given. Indeed they’re already loosening.

I’m not supposed to spend much time at a keyboard so this is necessarily brief.

We’ve gone into isolation with this coronavirus being so rampant. I feel very vulnerable at the moment. A neighbour has volunteered to do any necessary shopping so we should be okay. I hope all of you, wherever you may be, are too.
