Tuesday’s post brought yet
another letter from the hospital with yet another appointment. This time it’s
back to the Breast Clinic.
What got to me is that the
letter arrived this week & the appointment is for next week, both times we would
have been in Italy if the flights hadn’t been cancelled. In the letter you were
asked to ring them to change appointments if you are unable to attend so
someone else could have the appointment or risk never being invited in again. Is
it just me, or do most people go on holiday for at least one week? So why give
less than one week's notice? That doesn’t give you chance to change it. I
appreciate there are many missed appointments. The presumption is that people
forget the appointment. Could it just be they didn’t know in time to change
them?
Mentioning the trip to
Italy, we now have the vast amount of the money spent back. It seems to have
been incredibly prompt. We’re still no nearer going anywhere as I snuffle &
cough along.
