A disrupted week ahead

It’s already clear we’re going to have a disrupted week.

This morning found us at the surgery at 9am. The Fox has developed a small growth on his back. We weren’t quite sure what to make of it. The GP wasn’t sure either. It’s very small but it has grown since I rang to make the appointment last week. It is very dark. To be on the safe side the GP decided to fast track the Fox to Dermatology at the hospital to have it checked out by the experts. He suspects it’s nothing to worry about but he’s not sure.

We returned home, had some crumpets & tea & were just wondering what to do next, when the phone went. The hospital. The Fox has an appointment for Wednesday. You certainly can’t complain about lack of speed.

So now it seems we’re off to Lancaster on Wednesday. I had been hoping to make a trip in anyway this week to buy some game for a change. Maybe we can combine to two things in one trip.

Meanwhile we wait.

We had intended to go into the travel agents last Thursday to try to book the Austrian holiday. That’s been put on hold until we know the results of the hospital trip & whether the Fox will need any treatment or not. Hopefully we’ll be able to book the holiday later this week, in the happy knowledge that’s there’s nothing to unduly worry us about the Fox’s health.
