I’m back to waiting.
Yesterday one of the men from the landscaping company was back. This time he
came armed with 100 narcissi/daffodil bulbs, which he duly planted under the
silver birches, and some mint plants which he planted in the semi-circle of
lavender. He also tied up some of the climbers which have already grown
sufficiently for another tie to encourage them up the pergolas & fences.
Today the man is
coming with the stone seat. However, this man is not so definite about what
time of day he may come. In theory we’re off to do the food shop this
afternoon, but I’m quite expecting it’s going to turn into an afternoon waiting
at home & for the shopping to be done tomorrow instead.
Anyhow immediately I
thought I’d post up a few photos of our garden so you could all see what a
transformation it’s been.
Here's a few of the garden before work began, or when it had only just started:

The area just as you enter the back garden |

Round the back where the greenhouse was, with its small lake |

Through the trellis onto the lawn |

The old bog garden by the shed |

Up the garden after some of the trees were felled |
