Time for webbed feet

The Fox went out to measure the fluorescent light strip before we set out for the shops. As it was dingy he automatically tried to put the light on. Lo, and behold, there was light! Clearly that was just another aspect of Wednesday being one of those days.

Yesterday we hastily got out & did a few chores while the weather was a bit better i.e. it wasn’t permanently tippling down. I even put a new cane in to support the acacia! We went over to the blind shop to pay that bill.

The golf club is just around the corner from the blind shop so we popped in for a drink. We soon discovered it was very quiet. Indeed the roads throughout Morecambe had been very quiet.

Apparently the previous day the course had had to be closed due to extensive flooding. That’s a first since we joined the club a couple of years ago. It just goes to show how much rain has been coming down!

Even as I write the first shower of today has started. I think I will soon have to start growing webbed feet!
