An update

We did get to the garden centre on Monday. We bought a few extra pots. I’ve been planting them up with some miniature daffodils, cyclamen, pansies & violas. Hopefully we should now have a bit of winter colour, followed by spring shoots & colour from the daffodils.

We have a few daffodils & violas left. I’m contemplating whether to put them in the back garden, somewhere visible from the kitchen windows, or the front garden, or even buy another pot or two. So many options!

All these colourful pots are certainly brightening up a rather boring pebbledash garage wall, which is very visible from the kitchen. It’s nice to see colour so close to the house, something you can see even when the weather is so intemperate that you don’t want to venture out to explore the garden.

Oh, and we’ve had our flu jabs. We’ve both had sore arms. I still can’t lie on that side. The Fox has a real beauty of a bruise where the needle went in. He’s also got the sniffles again. However, I think it’s the side effect of the jab rather than a recurrence of the cold. I certainly hope so.
