Yet another

And so the next group of workmen arrive. The next drive is got ready for a spruce up. Today the wagons have arrived with men, equipment & various materials. The shovelling has begun.

 

This will be the third drive in a row. Barely has one finished than the next begins. Both the first & third were done at about the same time as ours, well over ten years ago, in 2006. They were both tarmacked; ours had patterned concrete. Clearly they both feel theirs are looking the worst for wear. Ours could do with a wash & re-glaze both otherwise looks fine. We’re certainly not thinking of re-doing ours for a while yet. I wonder what’s got into everybody.

 

So far the first one has had a resin surface. The second one is varied as it goes around the house. The side & back is paved with an artificial lawn, the front brick-edged tarmac. I wonder what the third will be.

 

Meanwhile we’re back to noise & dust, though it shouldn’t be quite as bad as this neighbour is a couple of houses down the street.
