It seems to me to be one of life’s little miracles. In our front
garden the deep purple crocuses are in flower, between the small cheery bright
yellow tête-à-tête daffodils & the paler, more mauve, heather. Each
morning, as the sun reaches the flower bed, the purple petals open up. Each
evening as the sun goes down they close again. A little miracle. I know it’s to
do with the photosensitivity of the plant but that doesn’t stop it being a
miracle in my mind.
