A little miracle

It seems to me to be one of life’s little miracles. In our front garden the deep purple crocuses are in flower, between the small cheery bright yellow tête-à-tête daffodils & the paler, more mauve, heather. Each morning, as the sun reaches the flower bed, the purple petals open up. Each evening as the sun goes down they close again. A little miracle. I know it’s to do with the photosensitivity of the plant but that doesn’t stop it being a miracle in my mind.
