I was just in the midst of getting dressed when I heard a thump, followed by the roll of wheels & finally the sound of something falling over & hitting the ground with a thud. All this spells a windy day.
Needless to say the first thing I did was investigate what had been happening. The shed door had blown open hitting a green bin. With such an impetus behind it, the empty bin continued its journey into the walled garden blown along as it went until finally it was blown over.
Like many people in this country, I was looking forward to the fact that as of today, we are allowed to see up to 6 people but only from one other household, in the garden, maintaining social distancing of course. I was intending to unlock the gate to the garden so if some friends came round I could send them round to the garden. Now I listen to the wind blowing & various things rattling, as well as the odd bit of rain slashing on the window. I can’t imagine any of us wanting to sit for a chat in the garden in this weather. Not helped by the fact that the wind has a very wintry cold edge. What a disappointment! Let’s hope the weather improves as the days go on.
The idea of just seeing our friends again, a few at a time, has such appeal.

sorry the pesky wind became such a spoilsport, here in North Yorkshire the wind remained very gentle (and you know that's not always the case in our domain). Thoughts and prayers are with you and the Fox as always. Take care.
Lovely to hear from you again. Hope all is well with you both. Love the vixen xxxx
